Location
In-person NYC Voice Lessons are generally held at my personal studio in Inwood, Upper Manhattan. Exact location will be provided upon initial scheduling.
Virtual Lessons
Virtual lessons are also available using Zoom. Please inquire about recommended tech set-up.
Rates and Payment
Please contact me for current rates and forms of payment.
Payment for a lesson is due 24 hours before the lesson start time.
Cancellation
The Alan Dornak voice studio employs a standard 24 hour cancellation policy. Clients who cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice will be responsible for paying the entire lesson fee.
Cancellations must be made via text, WhatsApp or Signal.

Lessons duration is an hour, generally scheduled on the hour.

I teach every day, weekdays and weekends. I do however teach at several institutions during the week and those schedules change periodically. So, check with me and we will find a day and time that works for both of us.

I am NOT a pianist. Helping with melodies and harmonies are no problem, but playing the accompaniment is not my expertise. If you would like to sing along to your pre-recorded piano track or an online accompaniment/karaoke track, that’s great. You are also welcome to ask a pianist to join us. If you need recommendations for pianists, just ask.

Yes, in some form. Bring printed sheet music or have PDFs you can send me. Make sure your sheet music is in the correct key if at all possible. I can help you figure out a key during your lesson time if needed.
